President’s message

First of all I wish you all once again a Happy New Year and a successful carnival 2014. We had a fruitful time during our Dies Natalis 2013 in San Marino. There were large delegations from Malta, Netherlands, Serbia, Italy, Montenegro, Macedonia, Slovenia, Cyprus, Ukraine, Bulgaria, Portugal, and Germany.

The preparations have been done by Cyprus for the 34^th FECC convention. Furthermore we are happy that the former treasurer Ms.Beifuss has handed over all the administration and belongings of the FECC (ties, medals, hats , flags etc) to our new treasurer. Furthermore we had a good boardmeeting. The future of the FECC looks prosperous

Erstens mochte Ich Ihnen nochmals Glueckliches Neues Jahr wuenschen und einen erfolgreichen Karneval 2014. Wir haben ein fruchtbares Zeit gehabt wahrend des Dies Natalis 2013 in San Marino. Anwesend waren Delegationen aus Malta, Niederlande, Serbien, Italien, Montenegro, Slovenien, Zypern, Ukraine, Bulgarien, Portugal und Deutschland. Die Vorbereitungen des 34.FECC Treffen in Zypern sind angefangen. Weiterhin sind wir gluecklich das den ehemaligen Schatzmeister Frau Beifuss endlich die ganze Administration und FECC Eigentuemer an unserem neuen Schatzmeister ueberreicht hat. Schliesslich haetten wir eine gute Vorstandssitzung. Die Zukunft erscheint wirklich in rosigem Licht.

Allereerst wil ik U allen nogmaals een voorspoedig Nieuwjaar en een succesvol carnaval 2014 wensen. Wij hadden een grandioze tijd gedurende de Dies Natalis in San Marino. Er waren delegations uit Malta, Nederland, Servie, Italie, Montenegro, Macedonie, Slovenie, Cyprus, Oekraine, Bulgarije, Portugal en Duitsland.

De voorbereidingen voor de komende conventie in Cyprus zijn in volle gang. Gelukkig te melden is dat de vorige penningmeester Mevr.Beifuss alle bestanden,administratie en FECC materialen heeft overhandigd aan onze huidige penningmeester. Tenslotte hebben wij een constructieve bestuursvergadering gehad. De toekomst voor de FECC ziet er rooskleurig uit.

  Bulgaria

The 23th International Festival of Masquarade Games “SURVA” Pernik 2014 will take place from 24^th until 26^thJanuary 2014. 96 groups have informed the organizing committee that they will participate with 6400 participants from all regions of Bulgaria and abroad. Pernik expect groups from Albania, Greece, Hungary, Indonesia, Italy, Macedonia (2 groups), Serbia, Slovakia and Slovenia(2 groups)

The National Geographis TV announced the Festival “SURVA”as the World’s winner top destination in 2014. The FECC president has been invited as guest of honour.

Das 23.Internationales Fest der Masquarade Games “SURVA”in Pernik 2014 findet statt von 24.bis 26.Januar 2014. 96 Gruppen haben sich gemeldet mit 6400 Teilnehmer. Die Gruppen kommen aus alle Bulgarische Regionen und aus Albanien, Griechenland, Hungarien, Indonesia, Italien, Mazedonien (2 Gruppen) Serbien, Slowakien und 2 Gruppen aus Slovenien. Die Fernsehanstalt “National Geographic”hat des Festival “Surva” die Spitze Bestimmung in Winter 2014 erklaert. Der FECC Praesident ist eingeladen worden als Ehregast.

Het 23^e Internationale Festival Masquarade Games “SURVA”Pernik 2013 vindt plaats van 24 t/m 26 januari 2014. 96 deelnemende groepen hebben het organizerend comite meegedeelt dat zij zullen deelnemen met in totaal 6400 deelnemers. De groepen komen uit alle regionen uit Bulgarije, verder uit Albanie, Griekenland, Hongarije, Italie, Macedonie (2 groepen), Servie, Slowakije en 2 groepen uit Slovenie. De TV zender National Geographic heeft het Festival ‘SURVA”als de top bestemming voor winter 2014 uitgeroepen.

  Malta

On the Maltese Islands are various carnivals. The main carnivals are in VALLETTA (from 28^th Febr.-4^th March). In Nadur there is the unique spontaneous carnival on 23th February .Furthermore is the Nadur carnival also from 28^thFebruary-4^th March. ( nadur.lc@gov.mt )

Finally our senior member George Zahra elected as the new national president FECC Malta-Gozo.

Auf die Maltesen Inseln gibt verschiedene Karnevals. Die wischtigsten Karnevals sind in VALLETTA (28.Febr.bis 4.Marz). In NADUR gibt’s einen einmaligen spontanen Karneva lam 23.Februar. Weiterhin findet der karneval in Nadur statt von 28.Februar bis 4.Marz. ( nadur.lc@gov.mt )

Schliesslich ist unserer Senior Mitgleid George Zahra gewaehlt worden als National  Praesident FECC MALTA-GOZO

Op de Maltese eilanden zijn verschillende carnavals. De bekendste carnavals zijn in Valletta (van 28 febr.t/m 4 maart). In Nadur wordt het unieke spontane carnaval gevierd op 23 februari a.s. Het normale carnaval in Nadur vindt plaats tussen 28 febr.t/m 4 maart ( nadur.lc@gov.mt )
